What parts are needed and what do they look like?

System Bus

• Simple computer designs connect memory & all peripherals via a system bus
• Set of wires connected to CPU & peripherals
• Separate wires for command codes, address, data
• All devices listen but ignore commands to others
• Only one can use bus at a time
